On the day of Makar Sankranti, I went to visit slum area with TSF’ volunteer. There are many children of all age groups there. I was in-between Jobs, and went there thinking I will donate my time and knowledge in helping these children as a volunteer, The children I met there were so full of enthusiasm and love for life, just meeting them filled me with joy and happiness.
My work here made me to delve into these children’s world, understand their perspective, thinking, and wishes. This made me feel like a child again.
I learned the importance of life’s little things we take for granted from these children and I also learned what it means to be happy.

I was in NSS (National Social Service) during my graduation which I really liked. So, after college also I wanted to be involved in similar social welfare work and I couldn't find any better option than "The Saviors Foundation" in my city.
To be honest, the real meaning of the NGO came to the fore when it was associated with TSF.
Mostly every weekend we used to visit the nearby slum area and try to improve their lifestyle in every possible way. I myself do not know how many times I have taught there in such areas, sometimes I have participated in medical camps, sometimes we provide them water tanker also.
